Drawing and Illustration Course

Service Description

This class is for beginners and experienced artists wanting to learn how to draw or just wanting to improve their skills. This 6 week program will have a different focus each week. It will be held at the Nowra Library in the meeting room downstairs. 6 Wednesdays starting on 19th February and finishing on 2nd April. 10 - 12pm each week. Your teacher Antony, is a highly skilled illustrator. Antony has previously worked for Disney . His vast knowledge can accommodate all your drawing needs and interests with ease. Antony will guide you on how to see and represent form and tone within a composition. You will also learn the various sketching techniques used to represent texture to add life to your drawing and create interest in the textual and tonal qualities of your work. A broad range of artists' materials are available to use when experimenting with the various ways artists construct and complete their compositions. Materials will include pencil, pen and ink, charcoal, fine markers, pastel, graphite sticks etc and experiment with different papers. If you have your own art materials you are welcome to bring them to learn how to use them best. All materials are supplied.
