Needle Felting Bird Workshop

Service Description

Join us for a "sculpting with wool" workshop to create a bird! At Jervis Bay Maritime Museum, Huskisson This workshop will introduce you to the wonderful world of wool needle felting. Saphyre Bunyan, an award winning felting artist, will expertly guide you through all the processes required. You will learn to work with special needles and other simple tools to create a unique three dimensional sculpture with this fantastic natural fibre. The process just requires a steady hand and some repetitive wrist and arm movements. The workshop includes all materials and morning tea. At the end of the workshop, you will take home a wonderfully coloured felted bird sculpture and will be skilled in progressing to more complex felting artworks.

Cancellation Policy

If, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Art Hub cancels a class or workshop, you will be notified asap. If the cancellation relates to a workshop, an alternative new date may be offered to the same value of the workshop being cancelled. If we cannot accommodate a suitable date, a full refund will be issued. If you are unable to attend a class you have booked, if possible please let us know either 2 days before the scheduled date or the day before to allow us to adjust staff numbers.
