Weave Like a Bird Workshop

Service Description

This Workshop will be held at the Wesley Centre, Uniting Church Grounds, Berry St Nowra 10 - 1pm We are very lucky to have internationally renowned artist ,Lissa de Sailles living in the area. Following on from a successful series of workshops and exhibitions in Australia and internationally. featuring baskets inspired by the natural world, Lissa de Sailles will guide you in how to make nests. We begin by learning the age old technique of interlacing or random weave and two ways to start from the bottom up and top down. Using natural materials. You will make a small nest or two and learn skills for life. This is a great fun activity. You will be hooked on making baskets. Suitable for adults and children ages 14 + All materials supplied. Please bring Wire garden ties, and sharp garden scissors or secateurs. Morning tea is included

Cancellation Policy

If, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Art Hub cancels a class or workshop, you will be notified asap. If the cancellation relates to a workshop, an alternative new date may be offered to the same value of the workshop being cancelled. If we cannot accommodate a suitable date, a full refund will be issued. If you are unable to attend a class you have booked, if possible please let us know either 2 days before the scheduled date or the day before to allow us to adjust staff numbers.
